RE: Managing collections - Moondoggie78 - 2024-05-31 I'm also wondering about this issue. I have a few movies that I would like to have in the Collections tab, but not all of the movies. As an example, I have all of the Harry Potter films as well as the Fantastic Beasts ones. I wanted all of the Wizarding World movies together and not to be grouped by Harry Potter and then Fantastic Beasts. Is this simply just remove the TMDb Box Set plugin and just manually adjust from there? But checking the box has no effect it seems since the movie edits are invariably added back, sometimes in a matter of a few seconds. Scratching my head here... All the more strange since the TMdb Box set plugin is scheduled to run every 4 hours. Maddening Hi, quoting myself to re-up since the recurring problem has not gone away with the uninstallation of the TMDb Box Sets plugin as the following shows (as was advised in the previous post): Quote:xbmc@jellyfinvar/lib/jellyfin/plugins$ ls -lh I still get movies added to a collection even when the native option is disabled: Waiting for someone to help... Banging my head here. RE: Managing collections - theguymadmax - 2024-06-26 @naouk76 I briefly skimmed over this thread and to my understanding you are trying to prevent movies from automatically being added to a collection. To do this, you would need to remove the TheMovieDb Box Set id from the movie's metadata that you do not want in the boxset. After that delete the collection and rerun the TMBD boxset task to recreate the collection. The movie without the TheMovieDb Box Set Id will no longer be in the collection. Seems to be working and to stick over time. Much appreciated, was driving me crazy RE: Managing collections - ghunterx21 - 2024-09-05 (2024-01-26, 03:00 AM)Yankees4life Wrote: Go to Dashboard -> Libraries -> Display panel -> Check "Group movies in collections" That helped me out a lot. Thank you for your help. RE: Managing collections - FireBurst - 2024-09-06 I have the "lock this item to prevent future changes" on my movie collection but when I refresh libraries the collection is renaming back to default. I changed the name of it, it just never stay after a refresh. I unchecked the automatically create collection when 2 movies are of same collection, but it still create a new folder collection of the movies... why does it still create new collection when its unchecked? I have no control over my collecitons, it always create, keep the same names after a refresh. I can create a new collection myself but they always are found in a second collection I didn't create. |
