RE: Collections don't have thumbnails - theguymadmax - 2024-08-18 You need to install the TMDb Box Sets plugin from the catalog, it's different from the one installed by default. After it's installed you can go to Dashboard->Scheduled Tasks and manually run the "Scan library for box sets task". RE: Collections don't have thumbnails - ca2ju - 2024-08-20 The same problem here, if you find a solution, please let me know! RE: Collections don't have thumbnails - TheDreadPirate - 2024-08-20 @ca2ju - theguymadmax posted the solution. You need to install the TMDB Box set plugin. The default plugins, including the plain TMDB plugin, that come with Jellyfin will not retrieve collection poster. But the TMDB Box set plugin will retrieve collection poster. RE: Collections don't have thumbnails - ca2ju - 2024-08-21 Thank you, this worked for me! RE: Collections don't have thumbnails - brightfang - 2024-10-26 TMDB Box Set Plugin did not fix the issue for me, of the 75 or so collections only 1 pulled art. From what i can tell it may be a link mis-match at this point. For example for Aladdin, one of the options attempts to pull the following with the message : IMAGE SIZE NOT SUPPORTEDĀ (and this happens for all searched images) https://image.tmdb.org/t/p//9jAbtLbAbebtuF5q1gZIPUCuegd.jpg but the actual image can be found at: https://media.themoviedb.org/t/p/original/9jAbtLbAbebtuF5q1gZIPUCuegd.jpg Essentially TMDB has updated the URL but Jellyfin is still pulling an old, and apparently incomplete, link. Short of manually saving each correct image to my server to manually upload myself, or god-forbid having to create my own (suck at digital art) is there any way to correct this? RE: Collections don't have thumbnails - theguymadmax - 2024-10-27 Try this: Go to Dashboard-> My Plugins ->TMDb, and ensure all Image Scaling options are set to original. These settings affect the TMDb Boxset plugin, even though they are separate. RE: Collections don't have thumbnails - jellylove - 2024-11-01 I have the same problem and can confirm, that the TMDB Box Set Plugin is installed, set to origin and does not find an image for the collection. A fix would be nice! (2024-10-26, 01:44 PM)brightfang Wrote: TMDB Box Set Plugin did not fix the issue for me, of the 75 or so collections only 1 pulled art. RE: Collections don't have thumbnails - Sergiu - 2024-11-03 Hey, I had the same issue. What worked for me was going to the collection > Edit Metadata and uncheck the "Lock this item to prevent future changes" checkbox. I don't know why it was checked by default. After that "Refresh metadata > Search for missing metadata" and also check the "Replace existing images" checkbox. RE: Collections don't have thumbnails - Marc Bittner - 2024-11-29 I'm just going to bump this solution. I was literally about to give up on jellyfin when I figured this out. It looks like all the collections get created in a locked state by default, which is a pretty brain damaged behavior if you ask me: primary use for cases for these are 1) consolidating related content into a single icon 2) consolidating multiple media files for the same logical entity (different versions / encoding of one movie) into a single icon. I can't imagine why you would want to explicitly prevent these from fetching metadata when they get created. (2024-11-03, 04:20 PM)Sergiu Wrote: Hey, |
