RE: Roku 2.0.0 - Alliyance - 2023-12-18

If I manually turn on the forced subtitle, it works. If I turn on the full subtitles, they work only for a few minute. Like “Toazt” mentioned, when you turn on Roku subtitles to “Always on” the forced subtitles automatically turn on. If there’s no Forced subtitles, the full on is activated.

Before version 1.6.5, everything was working great. Version 1.6.5, forced subtitles was fine but it would turn on the main Roku subtitles   settings to “always on”

I admit I don't know how to collect/set up/use samples, but for basic information from me:

On the Roku TV app (everything works fine on Firefox and on desktop), for MKV files, subtitles work under no circumstances.

For other files, they seem to be working fine using the work around above. But it needs to be done on each file, rather than it automatically working.

Was there ever any updates for this?

I believe the solution is to upgrade to Roku 2.0.1.
