What about the strings of "letters and Numbers" is private info on the server?

RE: Main Search Bar Doesn't Work - TheDreadPirate - 2024-06-12

You mean like the playback tracker IDs? All of the playback tracker IDs, event IDs, session IDs, and item IDs are not sensitive.

Only what I stated in my previous post.

WAN IPs, domain names, maybe user names if you care about that.

Does this issue only affect movies in your Movies-4K path?

Code:
[2024-06-12 01:39:30.013 -04:00] [ERR] [143] Emby.Server.Implementations.Library.LibraryManager: Error in GetFilteredFileSystemEntries isPhysicalRoot: False IsVf: False
System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path '/mnt/unionfs/Media/Movies/Movies-4K'.

at System.IO.Enumeration.FileSystemEnumerableFactory.FileSystemInfos(String directory, String expression, EnumerationOptions options, Boolean isNormalized)
at System.IO.DirectoryInfo.InternalEnumerateInfos(String path, String searchPattern, SearchTarget searchTarget, EnumerationOptions options)

RE: Main Search Bar Doesn't Work - robblack26 - 2024-06-12

I removed the 4K folder so it is not on my server anymore.

Can you do a "Search missing metadata" type scan on one of your libraries? Once it completes, try doing partial name searches for content in that library. Also try replacing all metadata for a library and repeat the partial name search.

Searches in Library Folders work Great!

The issue is when searching from the Jellyfin Main screen.

Is jellyfin and Ubuntu installed on a hard drive or SSD?

I don't see any open issues on github that resemble yours. Go ahead and submit one here.
