That feature was introduced in v10.9.

My 5 cents to this issue - had not problems before with 20GB storage for transcodes, then alarm came that disk is full. Going to sheduled tasks and atvicating manually clear transcode (default 24 hours) - removed about half of that amount. Going to playback, transcode and checking delete, did nothing. Then i checked what is in that drive and saw a lot of *.mp4 files. Deleted them - drive empty now.

Using jellyfin for more that year now, never problems before. When transcoding disk was used and then self cleaned. Maybe after jellyfin update? I'm using now 10.10.1
