RE: Seemingly Random Folders Disappear - TheDreadPirate - 2024-08-12

Can you provide some example FULL paths for your one of your movies? And what folder is the library pointed at.

RE: Seemingly Random Folders Disappear - Karmalakas - 2024-08-12

/Media is a mounted volume

Code:
/Media
  /Video
    /Movies
      /LT
        /Atsiprašau[1982]
          Atsiprašau 1982 DSR SS.wmv
          movie.nfo
        /Kaip.Mes.Žaidėme.Revoliuciją.2011.1080p.WEBRip.x264.LT
          Kaip.Mes.Žaidėme.Revoliuciją.2011.1080p.WEBRip.x264.LT.mkv
        /Klases.susitikimas.Berniukai.sugrizta[2017]
          Klases.susitikimas.Berniukai.sugrizta.2017.1080p.WEB-DL.x264.AAC-BTG.mkv
          movie.nfo
        /Mieganciu.Drugeliu.Tvirtove.2012.LT.DVDRip.XviD-MERGyCKA
          mrg-mieganciu.drugeliu.tvirtove.2012.avi
          mrg-mieganciu.drugeliu.tvirtove.2012.en.srt
        /Saulius.ir.Paulius[2015]
          movie.nfo
          Saulius.ir.Paulius.2015.DVDRip.XviD.AC3.LT.avi

All are identified and showing up correctly except for the second to last - Mieganciu.Drugeliu.Tvirtove.2012

Then the case about disappearing:
Code:
/Media
  /Video
    /Movies
      /LT
        /Sugrįžimas[2015]
          Sugrįžimas.2015.mp4
          Sugrįžimas.2015.en.srt

Now I can't make it appear again no matter how I try Confused-face It's just not there - same as the example above

RE: Seemingly Random Folders Disappear - TheDreadPirate - 2024-08-12

Can you share your full jellyfin log via pastebin? And what folder is the library pointed at? /Media/Video/Movies?

RE: Seemingly Random Folders Disappear - Karmalakas - 2024-08-12

It's pointed at /Media/Video/Movies/LT

I assume you're askingfor log_20240812.log
Would you mind telling what actions you want me to perform for logging, so I could strip the to a minimum?

RE: Seemingly Random Folders Disappear - TheDreadPirate - 2024-08-12

Yes, that log. We prefer the full log. If we knew exactly what to look for we would ask you to search for a particular message.

If there are domain names or public IPs censor those. Usernames if you care.

Then post the full log to pastebin. If it doesn't fit, you can zip the log file and attach it to a forum post.

RE: Seemingly Random Folders Disappear - Karmalakas - 2024-08-13

Here you go. This is yesterdays log

RE: Seemingly Random Folders Disappear - TheDreadPirate - 2024-08-13

I see two things. Your server is crashing. I suspect it is not gracefully handling the client repeatedly not closing the websocket properly (I see repeated loss of web socket messages prior to the FTL errors).

And after it started up, post crash, I see a bunch of these messages.

Code:
[2024-08-12 20:07:11.599 +03:00] [INF] [20] Emby.Server.Implementations.ScheduledTasks.Tasks.CleanupCollectionAndPlaylistPathsTask: Item in "The Babysitter Collection" cannot be found at "/Media/Video/Movies/z_Just_downloaded_z/The.Babysitter[2017]/The.Babysitter.2017.1080p.NF.WEB-DL.DD5.1.x264-NTG.mkv"
[2024-08-12 20:07:11.601 +03:00] [ERR] [20] MediaBrowser.Providers.Manager.ProviderManager: Error in metadata saver
System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file '/config/data/collections/The Babysitter Collection [boxset]/collection.xml' because it is being used by another process.

   at MediaBrowser.LocalMetadata.Savers.BaseXmlSaver.SaveAsync(BaseItem item, CancellationToken cancellationToken)
at MediaBrowser.Providers.Manager.ProviderManager.SaveMetadataAsync(BaseItem item, ItemUpdateType updateType, IEnumerable`1 savers)

Almost like the previous jellyfin instance may still be tying up a some files, causing the new instance to drop them.

RE: Seemingly Random Folders Disappear - Karmalakas - 2024-08-16

Not sure I understand. Is there anything I can do about it? I have only one server instance and using Jellyfin only from one client at a time.

RE: Seemingly Random Folders Disappear - TheDreadPirate - 2024-08-16

To me, it looks like there is some sort of network connectivity issue. A local connection, even on WiFi, shouldn't be this unstable.

Restart your router?

RE: Seemingly Random Folders Disappear - theguymadmax - 2024-08-16

So I see some issues with your logs, but I don't believe they relate to the two examples you provided. It seems like an identification problem.

I replicated what you did:
Using the TVDB scraper, Sugrįžimas[2015] comes up as "The Return of Agnieszka H." When I try to re-identify it by searching by the name "Sugrįžima" and selecting the correct looking one (second option), it also gets misidentified as another incorrect movie "Her Being Home". Check your library for that movie. If it's there, you can re-identify it by searching with the TheMovieDB Movie ID: 1108901 instead of the name.

The movie "Mieganciu. Drugeliu. Tvirtove. 2012" was correctly identified on my end. You can use the same process: first find the movie ID on TMDB, then use that ID for re-identification.
