RE: No media access after 10.10.0 upgrade - Serge Biro - 2024-11-04 If I remember well, I followed these instructions: https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/installation/synology/ So I assume it's a docker managed volume. Is there any way to check this? RE: No media access after 10.10.0 upgrade - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-04 In the container config, did you provide a static mount for /config and /cache? RE: No media access after 10.10.0 upgrade - Serge Biro - 2024-11-04 I didn't. RE: No media access after 10.10.0 upgrade - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-04 What may have happened is that when you upgraded jellyfin, the docker managed storage was detached and pruned (deleted). In the container configuration, you must provide a folder on the host to mount /config and /cache. This provides permanent storage for Jellyfin that won't get deleted in this manner. RE: No media access after 10.10.0 upgrade - Serge Biro - 2024-11-04 Ok I wasn't aware of that. Do you mean that the static folders are mandatory in order not to lose the settings when updating to a newer version? By the way, do you know, by any chance, a guide which explains how to do that? RE: No media access after 10.10.0 upgrade - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-04 It isn't MANDATORY if you know how to manage Docker, but it is much easier to manage if you have the container write to a directory you control and can configure. Our documentation has examples. https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/installation/container/#docker RE: No media access after 10.10.0 upgrade - Serge Biro - 2024-11-04 Ok thanks for the info! |
