RE: Android phone can't connect - bahnstern - 2024-11-05 I've tried both the nord meshnet address (http://username-atlas.nord:8096) and the meshnet IP address (100.x.y.z IP address) and neither works for connecting to Jellyfin RE: Android phone can't connect - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-05 The only thing I can find online is that perhaps the app isn't properly connecting to your meshnet? I don't use Nord, but does this reddit post make any sense? https://www.reddit.com/r/nordvpn/comments/14zwgle/android_meshnet/?rdt=50340 RE: Android phone can't connect - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-05 Someone gave me an idea. Do you have any custom DNS entries configured in Android? RE: Android phone can't connect - bahnstern - 2024-11-06 The reddit page doesn't look useful.. I do have meshnet set up and turned on, and can use it to access my Foundry and Cockpit installs running on my phone. However, to your second point I do have a custom DNS set up in android, generally either Cloudflare or Adguard Public DNS.. I'll try restoring those to defaults to see if that makes any difference. EDIT: Turned off Android Private DNS and restored NordVPN to default DNS (Nord's own), but still no dice. RE: Android phone can't connect - TheDreadPirate - 2024-11-06 I'm out of ideas. I haven't dabbled in meshnets much, but I had a hard time getting it to work when I was considering it. RE: Android phone can't connect - bahnstern - 2024-11-07 I appreciate the help anyways! I opened up a ticket with Nord to see if they have any ideas and I'll throw any results back up here for posterity |
