RE: Multiple instances of 'Continue Watching' files - TheDreadPirate - 2024-12-22 I think I see the problem. It appears you may have your media added multiple times. Once through the drive letter and at least one more time through the direct network path \\192.168.0.103. And I also see \\Newdiskstation. The one example I search for was music from "The Grates" and I saw it added twice through M: and \\192.168.0.103. I'm sure that this is happening for other media as well. Jellyfin is reading them in from multiple paths, even if each address ultimately leads to the same file. When you watch a video, it will track the same progress on however many times it has a copy of that episode/movie. Having said all that, you need to migrate all your libraries to drive letters. Network paths were deprecated in 10.9, the ability to add new paths was removed (existing network paths are left alone), and in 10.11 network path support will go away altogether. You need to map all your network paths to a drive letter and provide the drive letter to Jellyfin. RE: Multiple instances of 'Continue Watching' files - Terry Fyde - 2024-12-22 You're right, I have used several variations of library paths (though never more than one at a time). Why does Jellyfin remember the removed paths/libraries? I'll revert to mounted drives/paths & report back... BTW, thanks. |
