I just tested it here and it's fixed. RE: No Audio on Android TV - charlie - 2025-08-11 Hi, I recently set up Jellyfin on my Google TV and it was working fine for a few weeks but now I've encountered this issue. I'm not sure why as nothing has changed setup-wise, and I'm struggling to find a way to fix it. I've tried: - switching the audio mode to 'downsample to stereo', testing and then switching back again. - restarted the Google TV - restarted the docker container on my server - updated the docker container on my server I can see from this thread that a fix was pushed out months ago, but my installation is much newer than that so I'm unsure how/why I'm still getting the issue. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks Charlie RE: No Audio on Android TV - someguy - 2025-08-12 There is an issue with the night mode setting and the AndroidTV 14 update. Disabling night mode worked for several of my devices. https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv/issues/4818 RE: No Audio on Android TV - u.meloncrafter - 2025-08-20 For me this issue still occurs with version 1.10.7, i tried to downmix the audio, tried activating ffmpeg for audio, disabled the dolby stuff, but nothing changed edit: also reinstalled the jellyfin for android tv app and just in case, factory reset the device and configured it new edit2: i kinda got it working, dts audio still has problems RE: No Audio on Android TV - blahsi - 2025-09-09 (2025-08-20, 07:37 PM)u.meloncrafter Wrote: For me this issue still occurs with version 1.10.7, i tried to downmix the audio, tried activating ffmpeg for audio, disabled the dolby stuff, but nothing changed I converted some videos from MKV to MP4 using ffmpeg and the copy method. They play normally on the web browser after selecting the audio I want, which are either PCM or DTS-HD depending on the file. I tried watching the same videos through the Android TV app and no audio plays through the soundbar. After some messing around, I found that I have to switch audio input on the soundbar to something else, such asĀ analog, and then back to the TV - the video pauses for a sec and then plays normally with sound. Since the post above mentioned they were still having issues with DTS I wanted to comment here and see if there are any suggestions. Thanks! |
