RE: SPOTLIGHT - Trailers on the homepage - KodiUser1138 - 2025-08-12 Good follow-up info and apologies if I went overboard. I can type as fast as I can think so the ideas just flow out easily. If the current function is using the back arrow stops trailers playing I'd just leave that but make it known in the directions for other users. This way you can get what I was hoping, the slide show but no running trailers. At leat in the meantime before you make turning trailers on/off an option Haha I'd change the buttons to look like default JF and then changed by any theme a user put over their server? Not sure why only 1 MKV trailer didn't work. So far it seems to be the only one which is weird. It's my Close Encounters trailer. All the 3D MKV trailers have been running so far. It's any with AC3 audio that don't get audio still, like Indiana Jones for example. I will look at the variables, though sometimes seeing TV Shows come up is cool to. So many options! Was I correct about this pulling the artwork from the media folder and not the local JF cache? I will DM you about my server access. RE: SPOTLIGHT - Trailers on the homepage - KodiUser1138 - 2025-08-14 Having had this going to awhile now and seeing it in action I have another idea. If, through variable or settings or however, the user can select to have just the arkwork running (and pulled fomr the JF local cache) and then the play button will launch the trailer for the current displayed entry, that would be sweet! Even if the trailer has to be pulled from the media location. And I'd be curious to see this display come below the top row JF display, which for me is 'My Media'. Oh and are you able to add the director field to the information panel after the year? For movies specifically and only if a name is present in the metadata? RE: SPOTLIGHT - Trailers on the homepage - Fr_Rene - 2025-08-16 Hello, I can't get it to work. I have the following plug-in installed: files transformation, home sections, media bar, plug-in page. Do I need to stop or uninstall everything for it to work? The installation is on Windows. Thank you for your response. RE: SPOTLIGHT - Trailers on the homepage - KodiUser1138 - 2025-08-16 Check the UI folder for a list.txt file. IF it is there, delete it. Then reload your server theme with ctrl+shift+R. That file is for having a custom list of specific entries to run and is created as a demo without any information directly from your server so it is trying to show entries that don't exist for you. RE: SPOTLIGHT - Trailers on the homepage - Spotlight - 2025-08-18 2. Place spotlight.html and spotlight.css inside that folder. On windows 10 I can't find the spotlight.html and spotlight.css to put inside the UI folder I made, please help thank you. RE: SPOTLIGHT - Trailers on the homepage - KodiUser1138 - 2025-08-18 Did you download those files from the GIT? RE: SPOTLIGHT - Trailers on the homepage - Spotlight - 2025-08-18 No I only installed jellyfin I'm kind of new to this thanks. Does this work on fire tv stick ? Download this ? https://github.com/BobHasNoSoul/jellyfin-video-previews RE: SPOTLIGHT - Trailers on the homepage - KodiUser1138 - 2025-08-18 Yes, download and install in the appropriate folder per the instructions but also (not quite in the intrusctions) remove the list.txt file. Then refresh your JF browser ctrl+shirt+R and it should begin working. RE: SPOTLIGHT - Trailers on the homepage - Spotlight - 2025-08-19 I give up I can't find the files to download. RE: SPOTLIGHT - Trailers on the homepage - KodiUser1138 - 2025-08-19 The green button that says "Code" click it and select "download zip" then follow the instalation instructions. |
