RE: Jellyfin on Bigscreen VR - bslaughter5 - 2024-01-17 Could this be an issue related to DLNA custom profiles? I noticed there is a default profile for Playstation and nothing for Meta Quest. Anyone have guidance on how to setup a custom profile and ensure my device uses it? Can you share your jellyfin log with us via sourcebin? @TheDredPirate do you have any ideas? RE: Jellyfin on Bigscreen VR - TheDreadPirate - 2024-01-17 I have never used DLNA nor have I used Bigscreen VR. So I am out of ideas. RE: Jellyfin on Bigscreen VR - tmsrxzar - 2024-01-17 from my point of view if the playstation works then jellyfin dlna is working, if there is no log entry from Bigscreen VR it "seems like" it's not even trying to connect, in any case locating support for Bigscreen is probably the route to take RE: Jellyfin on Bigscreen VR - sanzoghenzo - 2024-07-24 Hi there, sorry to necropost this, but I think this could help. I too had problem with bigscreen on my meta quest 3, it doesn't even find the dlna server. First I switched to minidlna and deactivated the jellyfin dlna server; bigscreen correctly sees the server and loads the media, but your medias will be shown like stored in the file system, losing jellyfin management capability. I found out there's a new app for the quest called Commedia (you can find it in the app lab), that can correctly see jellyfin dlna server, so now I got the same media arrangement as in jellyfin, with favourites and the ability to broswe genres. |
