My only suggestion is to uncheck HEVC 10-bit in the Playback settings.
Just noticed that the 8250u is Kaby Lake R and not Coffee Lake like the rest of the 8000 series. That might explain it. But Kaby Lake also supported HEVC 10-bit, wtf!
I could finally got everything working like I wanted. I didn't change anything related to hevc, I think, but started working now.
The thing is that I'm happy now and I want to thank again to people like you, and the other users for helping me in this.
