You don't need to restart until we figure out what is going on.

The log you shared only contains the startup. Please replicate the problem and then share the updated log.

In /var/log/jellyfin, is there an ffmpeg log?

Huh. Everything looks fine on the server. The audio is being down mixed to stereo. But the same audio codec. The video is not transcoded.

What client are you using to watch this on?

RE: Subtitle format - Armentis - 2024-07-23

I was on browser player.

I think there is no transcoding possibility with my config ! Mac mini M1 on Asahi Linux Fedora

RE: Subtitle format - TheDreadPirate - 2024-07-23

Your setup probably can't transcode VIDEO. But if your system can run ffmpeg, which it can, audio transcoding happens on the CPU. So there is no issue with audio transcoding.

Which browser are you using?

RE: Subtitle format - Armentis - 2024-07-23

Firefox. I use Jellyfin on iPhone and Android TV too. On iOS, I use Jellyfin, Swiftfin iOS and Finamp for music.

RE: Subtitle format - TheDreadPirate - 2024-07-23

So ONLY the Firefox browser is having issues? Open the developer console (F12) in your browser and replicate the problem. Are there any error messages?

RE: Subtitle format - Armentis - 2024-07-23

No, I have subtitles problems with others, but most with web browser and android tv. If I extract sub with the same name, it works.
