I dont think its tone mapping thats causing the problem, because on my computer, doing direct playback (even though it dosent support HDR), makes it look and work fine. So could it be possible that the lower resolution could be causing the strange artifacting?
Edit:
Its definitely tone mapping. I disabled hardware acceleration, and tried running my video at a low resolution, and it had no artifacting.
