Aloha all!

I'm in the process of moving my family movie library to Jellyfin (also tired of everything being a subscription but like the convenience of streaming). I'm  getting Jellyfin up and running in a Docker instance running on a retired Dell server with Debian. Joined the forums to chime in on some interesting behavior when streaming DTS-HD MA to our NVIDIA Shields. Hopefully I can provide some useful logs and contribute in some capacity.

Hello

I am joining the forum to get some troubleshooting help as I am not as experienced in this whole ordeal as the target user. I am using my leftover PC hardware to set up a family music server to have an easier access to all the collected music over the years.

Greetings!

I've fairly recently set up a home server, which I plan on using for a number of things including a few game servers using LGSM, Jellyfin, and other things.
I'm running on Ubuntu 22.04, with a pretty decent spec server. i-12700k, 128GB (4x32G) ECC DDR4 RAM, and using ZFS for storage management (8 drives, 7 in RAID6 with 1 hot spare)

Good Day,
I have an UnRaid NAS currently with 56 TB and a Synology with 64 TB. I use Apple TV's with InFuse to watch my media. I am new to Jelly fin and need some help getting things working correctly. I had it working very well but then I had a hiccup and lost all my movies, but still have my TV shows on the Jellyfin webpage. I will be submitting my questions in the morning. Thanks for any help anyone is able to give and I look forward to being part of the community. Thanks!

Hi everyone!

I'm newbie here, and recently discovered Jellyfin, which is a great software and a good option to migrate from Plex.

I'm trying to setup Jelllyfin on a Docker running in a humble Zimaboard 832 (8Gb RAM, Intel Celeron N3450)

Just popping in to say hey. I don't do reddit much and found that the subreddit was closed in favor of this.
Happy to learn more about using JF to manage all my media stuffs. Hi everyone!

Hello I am a Jellyfin user. I use it mostly with my TV.

Hello, I am a Jellyfin user (proudly) running their own little home media server

Hello, am a former Plex (Lifetime membership) user that switched to Jellyfin about 2 years ago & never looked back. I run the latest Jellyfin server on an old 2014 Mac Mini & use "Jellyfin Media Player" for video & "Feishin" for music as clients on my iMac & Macbook Air. "Swiftfin" & "Finamp" on my iPhone & iPad. "Infuse 7" on my Apple TV 4K. I also use "Tailscale" to access my server remotely. Kudos to everyone involved in this great project. I only wish I had some coding skills to contribute more - Thanks for all the hard work !
