One movie don't work on a specific client - Kiyann - 2025-01-07

Hi !
So i've been using Jellyfin for some time and it's great but for the first time there is this one movie that i can't play on my Android TV, the file is not corrupted and i can play it with Swiftfin or with the web client, it just don't work with the Android TV client. The media player launches and there is no error message on my dashboard i can even see the movie playing in the client but on my tv it's stuck at 00:00.

I tried closing the app, restarting the TV, restarting the server but it just won't work.

Any idea what can i do ?

It would be helpful if we had the details of the file (full media info), along with server logs and any Fffmpeg logs generated when you play the file.

Code:
[in#0 @ 000001ec6f433180] Error opening input: No such file or directory
Error opening input file file:D:\Jellyfin\Movie\Sonic The Hedgehog 2020.mkv.
Error opening input files: No such file or directory

Jellyfin can't access the file or it doesn't exist.

Hi !
Well this is weird because the file works on other client such as the web app, here is the log and the ffmpeg log that it creates when i play it on the web app.

Try putting the movie in its own folder. While having all your movies unsorted is technically supported, NOT having them in their own folders has caused weird, unexplainable issues for other users.

"HDR format: Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, Profile 7.6, dvhe.07.06, BL+EL+RPU, no metadata compression, Blu-ray compatible / SMPTE ST 2086, Version HDR10, HDR10 compatible"

I've seen Dolby Vision Profile 7.6 causing issues for some Android TV users, depending on the device. Do you have any other media with the DV 7.6 profile to test?

Tried putting it on its own folder, even on a different hard drive, no change

Sonic 2 have the same DV profile but it works on the TV
