Certain file freeze randomly - Kiyann - 2025-01-10 Hello ! So i run my Jellyfin server on my computer with these specs: AMD Ryzen 9 7950x3D RTX 4090 32Gb RAM 2TB WD Black HDD Windows 11 But with some files i get 1 to 3 seconds freeze every like 2 minutes. My client is updated on an Android TV, i set up bitrate to the maximum and even on my dashboard i put a limit that i can't reach so i'm sure it's not the problem. I'm running the lateste version of server and client, even tried reinstalling everything. The files is direct play no transcoding or remuxing. I thought maybe it was because the bitrate was high (96747 kbps) but my computer my hdd and my TV can handle that speed (everything is connected with wire). I'm really lost here i even tried to get the file from another source just to be sure but it's still the same. The log and the ffmpeg log of the file are attached. Any idea what can be done ? RE: Certain file freeze randomly - TheDreadPirate - 2025-01-10 If your TV is connected with ethernet, switch to WIFI. Most TVs, even newer models, only have 100Mbps ethernet ports and they are junk 100Mbps controllers anyway. You will likely get better performance from WIFI. Thank you very much, it seems to be the solution. |
