N150, Ubuntu server, CasaOs - Neoone - 2025-01-11 Just wanted to let everyone know who may have tried to figure out why their transcoding wasn't working right with Ubuntu server and CasaOs. After hours and hours of messing around, here's what works: Update kernel to 6.12 That enables renderD128 to be active. Then under settings for Jellyfin in Casa, Devices /dev/dri/renderD128 for both host and container Now transcoding works RE: N150, Ubuntu server, CasaOs - TheDreadPirate - 2025-01-12 Interesting. The N150 is supposedly just an N100 refresh. I don't see why it would need a such a new kernel for the iGPU to work. It SHOULD have the exactly same iGPU as the N100. But thanks for following up. We'll read up on this and update our documentation appropriately. RE: N150, Ubuntu server, CasaOs - TheDreadPirate - 2025-01-12 Turns out we've already updated our docs. https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/administration/hardware-acceleration/known-issues/#intel-on-linux #7, the part in parenthesis at the end. |
