No cover art with nordvpn meshnet - bosseye - 2025-01-12
Hi, Ive just started having an issue with the jellyfin client on a firestick, where if connected outside my local network using nordvpn meshnet it wont display any cover art for both the folders and files. It still works fine on my laptop and phone (which is providing the hotspot) but on the firestick I cannot get it to display any.
Ive tried factory resetting the firestick but the issue still persists. Am I missing something obvious?

Do you have a reverse proxy setup? Like Nginx or Caddy?

No, just meshnet, tried with various VPN locations, and with just meshnet and no VPN, still no luck.

Can you share your server log via pastebin so we can double check it isn't have issues communicating with the firestick?

After much messing around I've finally found the cause. A setting in the Nordvpn firestick app called local network discovery was on, turning it off resolved the issue. Thanks.
