Web version doesn't read MKV's audio delay. - nameuser - 2025-01-12

Hello I was wondering if jellyfin web will ever support force recoding of audio (server side setting) and reading the delays inside a mkv file as well? I really hope it can be implemented some time.

You can force transcoding by lowering the max bit rate during playback.

If you only have a handful of videos with delays, you could remux the videos and permanently adjust the audio.

I know that stuff, but I really wish the delay just worked..
