Problem with android app, reverse proxy on Synology NAS - apaczenko1993 - 2025-01-13

Hi, I've just installed Jellyfin on Synology NAS. I'm having trouble logging in to my account on the Android app. The jellyfin server is redirected through a reverse proxy using the wizard in the login portal on the Synology NAS. It works fine on the browser but not on the app. The URL looks like this: https://jellyfin.mydomain.com How can I fix this?

So there is an additional login portal before it presents you the Jellyfin login page? If so, that is not going to work with most of our apps.

I forgot to enable checkbox [allow remote connection] in Jellyfin settings. Now all works well Smiling-face
