Made changes to files, scan all lib not changing anything - LoocPac - 2025-01-16 I had 2 movie folders, one for everything, and one for a specific universe. Well I wanted to clean up the home page of jellfin so I moved everything from the universe specific folder to the primary movie folder, then deleted the folder. I rescanned all libraries, i even restarted the docker that runs jellyfin, and went as far as restarting the physical server. But jellyfin is not updating to show the changes. That deleted folder is still there and all of the movies are still in that folder and not in the other one. When you try to play one, it errors out because that location is not valid anymore. Is there a more direct way to force jelly to update other than rescanning the libraries? Solved: I had a moment of clarity moments after posting this and went through jellyfin and deleted the library for the old folder on my file side. Then rescanned all again and it fixed everything. |
