can't login with reverse proxy - evan - 2025-01-18 hello. i am getting an error when trying to login to the gui with remote proxy through swag. i can connect to to the server, but get an error when trying to login: "Connection Failure We're unable to connect to the selected server right now. Please ensure it is running and try again." i have "allow remote connections to this server" checked and my url set in know proxies in networking settings. i have no issues logging in locally RE: can't login with reverse proxy - TheDreadPirate - 2025-01-18 The known proxies field is supposed to be an IP address. It is only needed if the SWAG proxy is running on a different host or has a different IP than the host running Jellyfin. Including if the proxy is in a different container. Can you share your jellyfin logs via privatebin.net? Are you publishing port 8096? Or are you not publish it and having all users connect through SWAG? How is SWAG configured? If you could share your docker compose and a censored SWAG config, that would be helpful. You can also try clearing your browser cache. |
