RE: Need Help: Setting Up a Secure Jellyfin Server with SSL and Free Domain - TheDreadPirate - 2025-01-19 If you are using No-IP or DuckDNS, you DO NOT need to also use Cloudflare. No-IP and DuckDNS ARE the domain name providers and answer DNS requests for your domain with them. You must install their clients on the server. That client will periodically check your public IP and push an update to No-IP or DuckDNS if it does change. You must also setup port forwarding for port 80 and 443 on your ROUTER. If you are using Caddy or Nginx Proxy Manager, either will automatically request certificates if you enter a domain name. |
