User Profiles - WIDANET - 2025-01-20

In my house we have a shared TV that is used by me, my mother and my younger brother. I would like to know if it is possible to create profiles, where we can just switch from one profile to another with a few clicks, instead of always entering a login and password, which makes the process boring and tiring.

Yeah under each user make sure set them to appear on the login screen, and set the accounts to have no passwords.

Set an image you like for each one. It works just like most video apps just click the icon and it logs you right in.

If your jellyfin is exposed externally you would want to uncheck the box allow remote connectiosn for all the accounts with no passwords.

Which OS is the TV using? The Android TV and Roku clients support multiple user logins and do not require credentials to be re-entered when switching.

Thanks you very much! The first part worked well and I managed to make it work, But in fact it is exposed, I wouldn't want other users (freinds) with whom I share to have access to the profile of those who live with me.
