3D file tags - scoot_r - 2025-01-24
The manual doesn't specify the over/under tags for 3d movies, so I googled it and then when I gave up scrolling I asked chatgpt.
"Yes, Jellyfin supports 3D video playback, including Over-Under (OU) format, as long as the client device and player can handle it."
Suggested Naming Convention for 3D OU Files:
- For Half OU:
movie.name.3d.hou.mkv
(HOU = Half Over-Under)
- For Full OU:
movie.name.3d.fou.mkv
(FOU = Full Over-Under)
Can anyone confirm this information is true?
Also, can anyone recommend a good player to watch 3d jellyfin movies?
