Android TV App - Unnable to connect (Versioning issues) - DukeKeen - 2025-01-25 Hello, I've been using Jellyfin in my local server for some time without issues. I have a Chromecast running Android TV with the app v0.18.4 (latest in the playstore). After the update (it was done by itself so I'm not sure when), the Android TV app is not able to connect to my server due a "version mismatch": States: "Server uses version 10.9.11 which is not supported" Android TV running: 0.18.4 Server Info: Server version 10.9.11 Web version 10.10.5 (e8e4ff0ca) Build version 10.10.5 I've tried already to update my server using the normal apt commands (update/upgrade) and restarting but it seems to not help with the issue. I want to make sure there is no other option before trying to side loading the APK in my Chromecast (which is not ideal) Does anyone had the same issue? Thanks for the help RE: Android TV App - Unnable to connect (Versioning issues) - theguymadmax - 2025-01-25 Try running Code: sudo apt upgrade jellyfin RE: Android TV App - Unnable to connect (Versioning issues) - DukeKeen - 2025-01-25 (2025-01-25, 08:30 PM)theguymadmax Wrote: Try running That did the trick, thanks!. Is weird that it won't upgrade along all the other packages when running just "apt upgrade". |
