FFmpeg related Playback Error - Tr33MuggeR - 2025-02-06
Setup Jellyfin a couple months ago and it's been working like a charm. Just the other day, a movie suddenly threw a Fatal Playback Error in the middle of playing, and now nothing will play at all. These are the logs. I've been running with Hardware Encoding and Decoding since the beginning and it's been working fine, so I'm not sure what's up. Also not educated on what FFmpeg is. I checked my storage just in case I had hit the limit for some reason... it's fine. Not even 1 of 8 TB taken up.

It is attempting to transcode to AV1 but couldn't initialize the device.
What CPU/GPU do you have? Only Intel Arc/Battlemage GPUs and Intel Arrowlake CPUs can encode to AV1 on the Intel side.
