Jellyfin audio - isakill - 2025-02-10 I have gotten a series that has 2 audio tracks. Jellyfin is 100% setup to play English audio over any other track. Here's the problem though. I scanned the files (246 of them) and the 2 audio tracks are listed as English. Default track (Russian) is listed as "eng" while the English track is track 2 listed as "English" I just started using Jellyfish over Plex with my new NAS setup, but there should be an easy way to select audio tracks manually in a similar way. Past that, my other 2 options is to delete the entire series and find a source with English as the default, or somehow scour each one and delete the Russian default track. RE: Jellyfin audio - isakill - 2025-02-10 I've been poking around looking on how to change the audio track and Jellyfin does indeed show the default track as Dubbed Russian, and the second audio track as English. I have verified that the english track works by playing an episode in VLC and selecting the English track. RE: Jellyfin audio - theguymadmax - 2025-02-10 On the Jellyfin Web UI homepage, click the user avatar icon in the top right corner. Then, select "Playback" and uncheck the option "Play default audio track regardless of language." After that, choose English as the preferred language. Are you unsure how to change the audio tracks, or are you simply looking to set English as the default audio? And what client are you having issues with? RE: Jellyfin audio - TheDreadPirate - 2025-02-10 Can you also share the output of ffprobe on one of these files? I'm wondering if there is a mismatch between the language tag and track titles or something. |
