Collection issues - xyncro - 2025-02-11 Hi! I've noticed some oddities with one of my collections It's my Indy collection where 'The Kingdom from 2007' have sneaked in between Indy from 1989 and 2008, and seems to be stuck there. I use Jellyfin 10.10.3 on Windows 11 and used to lock collections since seperate movies in other collections tend to 'drop off' from time to time, depending on my Jellyfins mood.. Maybe im not doing it right when i name the folder of each movie. I add movie name and year in brackets "The Kingdom (2007)" to keep similar titles apart, and sure, when the movie is scanned and added Jellyfin most of the time shows the year in bracket before the title. Thats not a big deal i usually fix that with the Identify option. Now, concerning this The Kingdom.. i've tried.. 'all'. * Unlocking the collection, * Unlocking all movies in that collection, * Emptied all possible cache, * emptied browser cache, * Restarted Jellyfin numerous times, * I even remuxed a new version of The Kingdom but nooo.. the only thing that happened was i got it away from the Indy collection in that Metahandler Explorer.. * Since The Kingdom refuse to add correct information when added, I've added all information manually.. but still no other result.. * In Library > View - I've ticked of the function 'Group movies to collection'.. * I dont have other errors.. And now im empty with ideas unless someone have something i haven't tried.. Annoying this, since i want to keep neat and tidy collections in my jellyfin.. RE: Collection issues - TheDreadPirate - 2025-02-11 Was The Kingdom properly identified? Check the movie's metadata for TMDB IDs. The only thing that makes sense is that it wasn't properly identified and the name was a partial hit on Kingdom of the Crystal Skull without any IDs to identify it otherwise. RE: Collection issues - xyncro - 2025-02-11 Thx! The Kingdom was not, the tries i made, properly added, it gave me this or that.. So i added it manually with all ID's from each site, then The Kingdom came to it's sence.. but.. it's still inside the Indy collection.. It struck me to that the word Kingdom could have triggered it.. but again it doesn't help unless i rename The Kingdom in the meta tag to something else.. I was thinking.. can i add something, a hack or any kind of zero value in the (TMDB, TVDB) collection ID fields to either block or try to hint The Kingdom to 'skip' Indy collection..? I tryied adding a ( - ) but that didnt work.. and a ( 0 ) on both those fileds didn't do it either.. RE: Collection issues - TheDreadPirate - 2025-02-11 Can you try "Scan all libraries"? See if that cleans up the collection? Also, are you using the TMDB Boxset plugin to create collections? RE: Collection issues - xyncro - 2025-02-11 Thx! SOLVED! I dont know with this software but.. does it update by itself..? The version number is still the same but i see plugins have been moved and grouped themself.. ![]() Anyway.. this issue is solved.. i found a function i didn't knew excisted.. click the 3 dots on the movie and there it was at the bottom "Remove from collection" and gone 'The Kingdom' was.. now my Indy collection only show 5 episodes.. and The Kingdom works too.. Thx for taking the time.. RE: Collection issues - TheDreadPirate - 2025-02-11 On Windows Jellyfin does not update itself. Plugins, however, can update when Jellyfin is restarted. But the Dashboard UI was changed a bit both in 10.9 and 10.10. |
