Jellyfin server configuration - archangel120 - 2025-02-13 I want to deploy Jellyfin on a server with E5 2660 v4 CPU and 32GB memory. Is this server able to handle transcode of 4K video file? If not, how about 1080p? RE: Jellyfin server configuration - gnattu - 2025-02-13 No, it won't be fast enough for 4K realtime transcoding with CPU alone. 1080p should be OK. Then how about if I add a graphic card to the server for supporting transcoding 4K. Is there any suggestion for buying a graphic card? The key point is to spend as less as possible for meeting the requirement.
