Concerts not correctly located via IMDB - JoeG - 2025-02-14
I have a bunch of concerts from old DVDs that I ripped.
They play fine on Jellyfin but many of them are not identified properly even if I use the band, title, and IMDB ID. I am not sure which Content Type i picked for this library but I have a feeling choosing Movies may have been the smarter move. This seems to make a difference?

Jellyfin does not use IMDB for metadata. Their API is not free nor cheap. Jellyfin's primary metadata source is TMDB and OMDB out of the box. TMDB and OMDB can translate IMDB IDs to their respective IDs, but only if their database also has that piece of media.
If neither TMDB nor OMDB have a corresponding entry for the IMDB ID you provide, no metadata will be retrieved.
