I believe you have to rescan and replace all metadata once you enable that setting. RE: ID3v2.4 tags multiple genres - gnattu - 2025-02-14 ID3v2.4 has its own spec-defined way of storing multi value tags and the usage of custom characters like ; or , are non-standard behaviors. To enable split by those non-standard characters you need to explicitly enable it in the library options.
