Naming of backdrops in episodes of TV Shows - zelpi - 2025-03-09 „Backdrop.ext“ as file name in the TV Show directory is for the backdrop of the main page. But how is a backdrop to name, when it should display in a special episode? Yes, I know, I can add it through the Jellyfin menu, but I’d like to have it like all my files in the specific TV Show directory, because I also work with nfo files. I tried with the episode‘s name plus „-backdrop“, but that didn‘t do it. Anybody has ideas? Through the Jellyfin UI add a backdrop for a specials episode. Jellyfin should then create the image in the Specials directory with the appropriate name that you can use elsewhere. RE: Naming of backdrops in episodes of TV Shows - zelpi - 2025-03-10 Ok, so I checked in the library settings the boxes for "Embedded Image Extractor" and "Screen Grabber" and "Save artwork into media folders". The only new thing that happens automatically when loading the images via the Jellyfin UI: The background image for the season is saved as "backdrop1". Unfortunately, the background image for the episode does not appear in the tv show folder. So it doesn't seem to work... |
