with the use of https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-mods/tree/radarr-striptracks the file does not import till after this is ran. Yet, when it is I always need to refresh the metadata, and replace images for the poster or any related images to show up. this mod strips unwanted subtitles to a new file, deletes the old one, renames then imports. Why does this mod have this effect.... its not hard to do but really annoying....

It sounds like you are running this on files already in your Jellyfin library. Unless you have real time monitoring enabled, Jellyfin won't rescan the file until the next scheduled interval or when you manually initiate a scan.
