Recording LiveTV only works if episode linked to series or program - canuckPK - 2023-09-24 I can only record LiveTV when the episode is correctly identified as part of a series or program. Anytime I see only the "record" button not both the "record" and "record series" button I cant record a show. When I try to record a spinning blue wheel appears on the screen and nothing happens. There are no events in the server log. If I click on a program from the guide, or search that has both record and record series then everything works well. I can record by clicking either button and everything works. I can confirm the stream works well, I can open the stream and watch it live. The same happens if I try to click the record button from the UI during playback. It seems like internally the "program name" is required to initiate a recording. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I assume someone will tell me to get a better XMLTV/EPG that identifies all the programs, regardless you should be able to record anything from the EPG given that it has a name, start and end time. Since there are no logged messages, before I start turning on debugging any suggestions? RE: Recording LiveTV only works if episode linked to series or program - canuckPK - 2023-09-25 I think this is solved, I think my EPG provider was having issues. Removed all tuner and EPG, then added back and all future EPG disappeared. Setup Xteve combined EPGs and filters, removed and re-added Tuner and EPG all good now. Very odd that I could watch the channel, see the future scheduled but couldn't set a recording... |
