Import playcount / watched state from .nfo is ignored - wickedjelly - 2025-03-11 Hi I'm currently moving from Kodi to Jellyfin, all movies are organised with .nfo files and contain the playcount with the format: <playcount>1</playcount> All movies get imported with correct artwork and actors and so on, however the watched state for all movies remains "unwatched". I tried to add the tag <lastplayed>2025-03-11 21:44:11</lastplayed> and <watched>true</watched> and did a metadata refresh, however, nothing changes. I understand the watched state is stored in the Jellyfin DB, unless you overwrite it to be stored in .nfo files, however, I only want to import it, from there, it should be saved in the Jellyfin DB... What could I be missing? Thank you. RE: Import playcount / watched state from .nfo is ignored - TheDreadPirate - 2025-03-12 Dashboard > Libraries > NFO Settings > Save user watch data to NFO files for: Set that to your desired user. I'm not sure if that will IMPORT the watch state from the NFO, though. But it will update NFOs going forward. |
