jellyfin server - adamd505 - 2025-03-12 To provide some history. I had installed Jellyfin server on my Fedora machine several months ago, but had to remove it for disk space issues (dnf remove jellyfin) I finally got around to reinstalling it (dnf install jellyfin). I tried to visit it with my browser to get started, http://192.168.10.8:8096, my previous server was still there, despite having removed jf months ago. I deleted it and added a new one, hoping to get a fresh start, but I get a login screen. My old un/pw doesn't work, and I have no idea what to enter. I've tried removing jf several times now with no luck getting a truly fresh start, unless this looks right, having a login screen, not a wizard. In my attempts to remove jf, I also went through and deleted all the files that dnf remove jellyfin missed, and just to be completely sure, I then did `find / -iname '*jellyfin*', there was absolutely nothing left...I reinstal and still I get a login screen and I don't know what to enter. Any help would be appreciated. -Adam RE: jellyfin server - adamd505 - 2025-03-12 I think I figured it out. Oddly, when I try from a private browser window, I get the wizard, but when I try refreshing without cache in my normal browser, I still get the login screen. Whatever, this looks like it'll work. I can't see how to delete my original question, so I'll just post this response and mark it as Solved if that's an option for me. |
