There is a job that runs on startup that cleans up playlists and collections when the associated media is not available. You can try disabling this job. Dashboard > Scheduled Tasks > Cleanup playlists and collections Then delete the startup trigger. RE: collection - laurent carpentier - 2025-03-26 un grand merci a toi pour ta réponse rapide RE: collection - Richard542 - 2025-06-12 (2025-03-25, 01:39 PM)laurent carpentier Wrote: It could be a problem saving the collection or the drive containing the movies is not remounted properly after rebooting. It could be that the server is not finding the path to the movies each time it is opened. Is the folder containing your movies on an external hard drive or network drive (NAS) that has to be mounted manually each time? New to jellyfin i have added videos to a few collections about twice now and after a little bit of time they are all empty. I have them stored on an external hard drive. I havent tried deleting the cleanup playlists and collections task as i didnt want to do something and mess things up more. Removing that cleanup playlist and collections task will not mess up anything. What it will do is solve the issue you are having.
