Unable to connect to server after install - corcastus - 2025-03-29
Debian 12
Version: 10.10.6
Installed using: curl -s https://repo.jellyfin.org/install-debuntu.sh | sudo ba
Service is running (sudo service jellyfin status) returns active
No firewall is running
After installing Jellyfin, I go to localhost:8096 on a browser (Chrome and Firefox produce the same results) and am met with a screen to select the server. The server is showing and when I click on "Connect" it goes to a screen that says "We're unable to connect to the selected server right now. Please ensure it is running and try again." When I check the service again, it still says it is running. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
