Subtitle Rendering Issues - Julius Muchembi - 2025-04-02
I am experiencing a very strange issue affecting some of my subtitles.
In cases where subtitles have multiple lines, the subtitles render incorrectly in the following ways(See screenshots attached):
1. Web Player
The order of the different lines is inverted. i.e.
subtitle line 2
subtitle line 1
2. Android TV App
The subtitles are rendered on top of each other.
3. iOS App
Same as the web app, plus the subs are GIGANTIC.
Any clues on how to fix this would be very much appreciated.
Jellyfin Server version: 10.10.6
Web version: 10.10.6 (c335a3024)
Build version: 10.10.6
Android App Version: 0.18.6 (On Chromecast dongle)
iOS App Version: 1.6.1 (1.6.1.0)

No image was attached, but your description is sufficient.
Does this always happen when there are multiple lines? Or does this only happen for a particular movie/show/episode? And what kind of subtitles are they?
You mention web player, but that doesn't really narrow down the kind of device you are using.
