TV broadcast order in other countrys - Jellyfan95 - 2023-09-26
Hey,
there are tv series which were broadcasted mixed up in other countrys. For example Spongebob Squarepants.
In germany there are many episodes with other episode-numbers than in the usa.
Unfortunately, that triggers the effect that jellyfin fetched the order from the usa and not from germany. Now i have nice thumbnails etc to the wrong episodes. Is there any way to correct this, than rename every episode to the us-order?
(The language from the library is set to german etc..)

You would have to choose a metadata source that provides those alternate orders. Jellyfin has no control over this. All Jellyfin does is match the episodes on the disk with the information that your metadata source provides. There are selections for alternative languages and regions, but your source would have to change the order by region as well. I don't know if any of them do that. I think that they generally use the original order from a given title's original region. Anime is the Japanese order, American sitcoms are in the US order, etc.
