Roku client no longer displays folders for Music Videos library - johare - 2025-04-04 I have a single Music Videos library set to library type Music Videos. It points to one folder which contains several sub folders for each artist/group. Prior to 3.0 when I select my Music Videos library, it would display the folders within the library. It no longer works properly and now just combines all the music videos as if they were all in a single folder. Still works ok using web client on PC. RE: Roku client no longer displays folders for Music Videos library - TheDreadPirate - 2025-04-04 When I get home I will do some testing and poking around Roku 3.0. Unless someone else answers, I will probably get back to you around 9PM US EDT. Also verified that it should work the way I'm expected per the Jellyfin server documentation. Was working before, so hopefully not to hard to fix. I'm it turns out I'm doing something incorrectly, please let me know. Other than this one problem, I really like the improvements in the 3.0 client. Thanks! The Jellyfin server guide states: "The Music videos library type can be used to organize music videos. The music videos are organized into folders, and the folder structure will be presented directly to the users." RE: Roku client no longer displays folders for Music Videos library - TheDreadPirate - 2025-04-05 I can confirm the behavior you're describing. Definitely Roku specific, though. Web clients and my Android TV client show folders. RE: Roku client no longer displays folders for Music Videos library - syxxers - 2025-04-06 Having a similar issue. Roku app updated and the front page is completely empty. I can search and find my media but My Media, Up Next, Resume, etc. is now gone. Tried to update my Jellyfin instance to 10.8.13 to see if that was the issue but did not fix. If you can't or don't want to upgrade, there is a "Legacy" Roku app you can install. With the caveat that it will no longer receive updates. |
