Jellycon Addon Library not updating - wickedjelly - 2025-04-06
Hi
I'm using Jellyfin and it works good so far. Library is updated as it should on the Web/Mobile and also on FireTV with the official Jellyfin client.
Now on the FireTV, I'm also using Kodi, with the Jellycon Addon.
In Kodi, I can see all movies that where present when I did add the Jellycon addon. But now, a week or two later, removed movies are still visible through Jellycon, and new movies are not showing up.
When opening the Jellyfin app on the same FireTV, I cann see the correct library content.
I want to mention that the FireTV is only turned-on when needed. I thought Jellycon via Kodi would just access the library on Jellyfin on-the-fly? What can I do that I have always up to date library access?

It has been a long time since I tried Kodi. Are there any caching settings that could be affecting add-ons?

Thanks for the reply. Indeed, there is a caching option in the Jellycon addon - I disabled that, end then all was empty.
I did then run a connection test and got a 401 error. Turned out that due to a VM restore, all logins were in need of renewal. After that, everything showed up instantly. Thank you!
