Jellyfin Remote Hosting works for browser but not in app - amerfathullah - 2025-04-07
Hi, I'm new to Jellyfin.
I've setup Remote Hosting so I can access my Jellyfin server anywhere using Cloudflare Tunnel. It works for browser, I can connect to my server, but not in phone apps. Maybe something to do with Cloudflare or Jellyfin settings?
Anyway, any helps is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Two things. First, using Cloudflare tunnels to stream video and/or audio is against their TOS. I highly recommend you do not use CF tunnels with Jellyfin.
Second, CF Tunnels cause weird issues with Jellyfin and could be the cause of your problem.
Turn CF tunnels off in your CF dashboard and try again.
