UGREEN NAS Installation - peegeetips - 2025-04-11
Hi,
I'm new to Jellyfin, so new in fact that even trying to do a simple password reset seems like a headache. Unfortunately the new password I had generated when signing up did not save but trying to reset the password gives me this notification: "The Following File has been created on your server and contains instructions to proceed. Enter Pin here to finish Password Reset
/config/passwordreset21b1dc66-d389-4059-9482-e023e6a681e4.json"
My problem is I have no idea where to find this file. I've installed Jellyfin via UGREEN's App Store on UGOS which installs it via a docker and when I look into the Jellyfin Container I see under Storage Pool: Shared Folder/@appstore/com.ugreen.docker/jellyfin/config but I don't know how to access this. In the files substructure, App Store isn't a viewable folder to access. I don't know why this has to be so complicated.
Has anyone any ideas how to solve this? Screen shots attached below for clarity.

You should be able to connect to your NAS via SSH and access that file path.
