Recognizing incorrect seasons - Paro89 - 2025-04-13
I scanned an anime to make jellyfin recognize it, but I don't know how out of two seasons that the anime actually has, jellyfin recognizes me, in addition to S01 and S02, also a "Specials" that doesn't exist on TMDB. Can you tell me why? Basically the "Specials" is composed of both seasons grouped together. All this leaves me very perplexed. With Plex this did not happen. Recognition had no problems. the title of single Episode is: 01x01 - <Title>.Mp4

Can you provide examples of the full path of your files? Including all the folder names.

File is here: /media/paro/Cartoni/Serie animate/Giatrus - Il Primo Uomo. Here there are two folders: Stagione 1 and Themes.
When i imported in Jellyfin, it recognize the folders "Stagione 1" and "Theme" but add another folder called "Stagione 2" that is the union of the folders "Stagione 1" and "Themes".
I hope I answered correctly and clearly.

What are the file names?
And "Themes" is not a supported folder name. Try renaming it to "extras" or "Specials".

That is not going to work consistently. The file name should include the season number and episode number in this format: S01E01, S01E02, etc.
