Emby across all of my libraries shows more shows/movies than jellyfin - gaming09 - 2023-09-27

I am running JF and Emby in parallel and the counts (without any filters) is showing differences, is there any easy way to compare and see what Jellyfin is missing?

Put them both next to one another in browser windows and scroll until you see a difference.

How many titles do you actually have? Can you not just check the file system?

If NEITHER server is correctly finding all of the media in your library, it's highly likely that your naming and organization does not match the conventions the parser needs. Jellyfin's conventions are here: https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/movies

They should frankly work for both Plex and Emby as well, with only minor differences between them.

Even if a title is misidentified, it should at least be scanned into the library. That some are not is probably more about your storage, organization, and permissions than anything else.
