Does JMP support HDR on Windows 11? - Vade.R - 2025-04-14 Hello, does JMP support HDR playback on Windows 11? I can't get it to work. Any help is appreciated. Thank you! I'm on v1.12.0 RE: Does JMP support HDR on Windows 11? - TheDreadPirate - 2025-04-14 JMP does not currently support HDR. If you want to play HDR on your PC you will need to use Jellyfin MPV Shim, which allows you to use an external instance of MPV. Newer versions of MPV support HDR when configured correctly. RE: Does JMP support HDR on Windows 11? - TheDreadPirate - 2025-04-14 It depends. I believe most browsers support HDR10 and possibly Dolby Vision Profile 5. But only if you're on Windows and you've installed the HEVC system codec from the MS Store. Or your video is HDR10 encoded in AV1. I don't know about DV 7 or 8 in browsers. |
